    Haiti Earthquake Update

INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN RESCUE MINISTRIES AND EGLISE INTERNATIONALE DU CHRIST D'HAITI would like to take this opportunity to update you on our work in Haiti during this difficult situation.
First of all ICRMHAITI want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and supports during this most difficult time. Secondly we want to inform that ICRMHAITI has been working tirelessly to provide aid and food to our community families.

Things are rapidly changing in the ground, especially here in Kenscoff. The earthquake hit us hard. Many facilities has been destroyed, people are still sleeping outside for fear of after shocks. Fortunately we have been able to provide assistance to many people. On the day of the quake, we help transport 400 people to the nearest hospital. There has not been any help coming from the Port-Au-Prince area yet, but we have been able to help. We have been working in concert with Mountain Top Ministries medical staff to help alleviate the sufferings of our people. We are in dire needs of medical supplies, food, shelter for the folks who lost their homes.

Here is what we know so far:
    * Our facilities in Kenscoff has been damaged. The ministry house compound has been demolished. The church facility, though damaged, we were able to feed children with the help of Mountain Top Ministries.
    * Our facility in Thomassin has been severely damaged as well. Including school and church. We are working diligently to assess the damaged to come up with a price tag for repair.
    * We have a team currently on its way to Maroseau to do some assessment of the damage

    Casualties:
    * We are doing everything possible to locate all of our school children and so far we have not successful in locating all of them.
    * One of our members and a dear cousin of ICRMHAITI President has been killed (Jennifer B. Loreston)
    * Pastor Elisme Louissaint: Severly injured. Electric pole fell on him and his hand is severely injured. We were able to drive him to Jimani, RD to have care.
    * Many of our church members has been injured, and we confirm one in the hospital in Petion-Ville with a broken foot.
    * Member houses destroyed. We have a lot of our members with no tent due to loss of their homes
